Presentation for employees of a company nearing their retirement

Last week, I was pleasantly surprised to get a call from a corporate entity. The request from the caller was to conduct a financial planning session for their employees who are nearing retirement. The parameters given to me was that their employees (between 10 and 15) were retiring in the near future and would be interested in a customized presentation for them.

The retirement corpus was around 1 crore which includes EPF and gratuity. The presentation was to help them plan their finances well and invest correctly.

I was more than glad to prepare a presentation for them. I worked on the presentation for a few hours. I delivered the presentation on the webex meeting setup by the company.

The session went on for about 90 minutes with time for questions from the group. The presentation was well received and the employees mentioned “it is an eye-opener for us”. There was special appreciation from the organizer and he said “the opening slides on the exciting phase of retirement has touched me very much”. He thanked me and requested me to do another presentation for another group of mostly youngsters in his company.

I am glad to hear from you
